Meet Stephan Girard, MA, RPCA

Stephan has been with Roy Northern in the Terrace office for over 6 years, and he brings a wealth of experience gained over his 22 years as a Professional Archaeologist. During this time, he has served as project manager, Permit Holder, and field crew lead/director for studies associated with a variety of development types including forestry, oil and gas, urban and rural infrastructure, mining, and other developments in the private and public sector. Stephan has managed archaeological studies on projects of every scale, from small-scale projects spanning a single legal subdivision to those spanning many townships. He is an approved Permit Holder and crew lead throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories. Stephan has extensive experience in all areas related to Cultural Resource Management and many areas of Indigenous consultation and engagement, and prides himself on his professionalism, efficiency, and strong work ethic. He believes that collaboration and communication are the keys to project success.
