Meet Cher Batchelor, BSc, RPBio

With over 20 years of experience in environmental consulting and biological field studies, Cher leads Roy Northern’s Environmental teams in BC and AB. Cher’s primary role is managing Roy Northern’s environmental specialists, biologists, and archaeologists and managing multidisciplinary oil and gas permitting projects and large-scale environmental studies. Her background and experience is in biological and botanical surveys, including special-status species surveys; habitat classification, evaluation, and mapping; biological constraints analyses; wetland delineations and regulatory permitting; construction and mitigation monitoring and coordination; and preparation of environmental reports. Cher has a B.Sc. in Ecology and Systematic Biology from California Polytechnic State University and she is a Registered Professional Biologist (RPBio) in BC.
